CORRUGATED CUSHIONING MATERIAL

▪ Use of materials that are easy to recycle

▪ Freedom from export restrictions

▪ Protection of goods from major shocks

▪ Reduce the cost of lost goods

▪ Maximizes productivity and enhances company image

Higher loading efficiency for the same area

EPS Regulation

In accordance with the European Union's Directive on Disposable Plastics (EU 2019/904), which decided to ban the use of plastic disposable products (disposable cutlery, plates, straws, coffee sticks and cups, delivery packaging materials, cotton swabs, etc.) from July 3, 2021, Germany has also revised the "Verpackungsgesetz" and "Disposable Plastics Ban (Einwegkunstoffverbotsverordnung)" to be further strengthened. …

In addition, countries such as Australia, India, Vietnam, France, Japan, New Zealand, and France are also increasingly regulating single-use plastics and plastic products.

OUR APPROACH

With increasing international attention on the issue of environmental pollution, large global companies are increasingly placing restrictions on what they export. Imported and exported goods are also being scrutinized to determine if they are made of eco-friendly products or contain environmental substances.

SUNPACK designs and produces eco-friendly cushioning materials using corrugated cardboard to replace plastic cushioning materials, so that they are not affected by export restrictions under EU and US standards. Corrugated cardboard cushioning materials have performed well in ISO drop, fall, and ISTA 3B tests, showing sufficient cushioning capacity. It is currently being used in the packaging of heavy, shock-sensitive medical devices.

DESIGN

FEATURES

The indiscriminate use of plastic is having a major impact on marine and terrestrial flora and fauna, as well as humans. In order to reduce the environmental impact of the indiscriminate use of plastic products, SUNPAC has minimized the use of P.E. Form by using a block-type corrugated cardboard structure (Tetris) that is easy to recycle, and has reduced 80% of the existing P.E. Form usage.

The corrugated cushioning material currently used performs its cushioning capacity without any problems even when reassembled, and we are designing and developing it to apply it to more fields and show even better cushioning performance.
